The students learned what it means to be a scientist today. We have all seen apples turn brown very quickly, and we wondered if putting something on them would stop this from happening. We tried several different liquids and a powder. The students used their eyes, noses and taste buds. We watched all day as some apples turned brown, while others didn't.
