Morah Yael reviewed the letter shin with Gan Ilanot. Shin starts off the word Shofar, and the children wrote shin and shofar on their dry erase boards. Then we drew corresponding lines for the different Tekiot: long for Tekiah, three shorter lines for Shevarim, and multiple tiny lines for Teruah.
