Avraham Avinu travelled through the desert, so we took a trip through our school (running, jumping, hopping, and crawling). We saw pictures of the deserts around the world, and played with sand. The children graphed the form of transportation that they use to come to school. We learned to recognize traffic signs, and understand what they mean too. The students decorated Tefillat Haderech as a gift for their family.
